Senior Quant Analyst

Excellent opportunity exists for a quantitative analyst with strong modelling skills and knowledge of the financial markets.

Working with an extremely high profile and well regarded team within this prestigious financial institution, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development, negotiation and implementation of internal models. This will involve acting as subject matter expert, providing technical advice and guidance both internally and externally. Main focus of the role will be on the Insurance sector and, as such, previous experience of insurance gained from an insurance firm, consultancy, or ratings agency or from banking or regulation with exposure to the insurance sector is essential. Consideration will be given to applicants with a risk management, accounting or quant analysis background.

In addition to excellent technical ability, the successful candidate will demonstrate superior relationship management and negotiation skills, together with the proven ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment, excellent organisation skills and a pro-active approach.
