Quantitative Analytical Specialist - Healthcare

C£50,000 to £70,000 Negotiable + Benefits

Central London

Our client, a highly respected Consultancy, is a trusted advisor to many of the most influential businesses in the world. They are problem solvers with a passion for excellence. Their rapidly growing healthcare area actively supports the key decision makers of the British healthcare system in developing innovative, practicable solutions. Their clients include health insurances and hospitals both public and private, regulators as well as the pharmaceuticals and medical devices industry. Currently they are seeking two high calibre Quantitative Analytical Specialists to join their London office.

Candidates need to demonstrate exceptional analytical and programming skills. They need to be team-orientated, flexible and able to work well under pressure. As a valued member of the team, you will be a strong independent thinker and have the ability to persuade others through strong interpersonal and communication skills. The role is client facing, and will involve modelling of healthcare finance and productivity of operations.

You will need to be a high achiever and demonstrate strong numerical ability demonstrated by an outstanding academic record with a strong degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Operational Research (2.1 or above). Post-graduate qualifications, either MSc or PhD level, also in quantitative subjects, are highly desirable. You will have proven experience in programming, modelling in excel & access and communicating complex analytics verbally and in writing. Experience of a statistical package such as SAS (or similar SPSS, Splus etc., using a scripting language) required. Knowledge of the UK healthcare industry would be useful but not essential, other sector experience such as investment banking, would also provide the relevant transferrable skills.
