SAS Analyst

Our client is one of the leading insurance groups in the world. They own some of the most famous insurance brands in the UK, providing insurance for both private individuals as well as small and medium sized businesses. They provide insurance products like motor insurance, buildings and contents (household) insurance, travel and pet insurance. Commercial insurance products include Employer's Liability, General Liability and Professional Liability, as well as commercial motor and property.

Duties
To support your team leader/manager and the wider Analytical team in providing consistent, timely and comprehensive analytical and statistical service. You will work on a project basis, supporting the household or motor insurance divisions. A lot of your work will include building and refining rating models in SAS.

Requirements

• Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, with ideally a postgraduate qualification (e.g. MSc in OR or Stats) or making progress towards further relevant professional qualifications
• Experience working in an analytical environment (banking, finance, insurance, credit risk etc)

• Strong Experience of SAS; Access, SQL, Visual Basic, Oracle would be useful but are not essential
